Born in 1972 in Karangbawang, Indonesia, the artist graduated from Indonesian Institute of Fine Arts in 2003, participated in numerous international exhibitions such as the contemporary exhibition in Sichuan Museum, China in 2004, Jakarta Biennial Exhibition in 2006, “Indonesian Art of being Known” exhibition in Jakarta and Yogyakarta Biennial VIV “Neonation” in 2007. The artist is fond of portraying personal figures, using strong colors as metaphors for his perspectives on political and social issues, and green, which symbolizes desire for nature and harmony, as the conceptual basic color tone. The artist fully shows his talents by exotic and lively images and wild colors.
