Introduce
(1909-2003)
Born in Danshui, he learned sketch and watercolor from Ishikawa Kinichiro in Foreign Painting Institute. He participated in Taiwan Watercolor Association after making acquaintance with Hung Rui-Lin and Chen De-Wang. He enrolled in Imperial School of Fine Arts (now the Musashino Art University) with Chen Chih-Chi, but gave up to study. Later on, he had traveled to Europe, America, Japan, and China. He was influenced by Yan Yue Tao Fu and Wulamanke (VLAMINCK) and was the artist who first introduced Fauvist style to Taiwan.
