In 1967, Cho Jung-Wha was born in Kyongsangnam-do, Korea. Now he lives and works in Seoul, Korea.   Cho graduated from Seoul National University with sculpture major in 1989 and earned his master degree in sculpture from Seoul National University. After 1997, he held solo and group exhibitions in Korea and overseas.   Main focus of his early stage structure works is on traditional Korean women and the subject matter is extracted from Korean history or traditional technique. His artworks from recent years contain several elements from popular fair tale characters, and such series receive the most attention in the art industry.
