Born in Anhui Province, China, in 1963, and graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Anhui University. He now lives in Beijing as a professional artist. Du Ke-Xi has held numerous solo as well as group exhibitions in Asia, America, and Europe. His works are in general with very strong personal style.

There are two means of abstraction and expression present in Du Ke-Xi’s works. His style is abstract expressionism, with its own specific characteristics. He breaks with the traditional way of oil paining, and his drawing skill and use of color are free and unrestrained. He fully expresses his feelings about life through a special angle of vision and through portrait graphics that audiences are easily to feel.
