Born in Pingtung, Taiwan, 1948 and graduated form the National Defense University in Department of Applied arts. Lin got Jin Jue Award form Republic of China Painting Association and hold a solo show in Taipei Chain-Fon Gallery in 1979. He taught in National Defense University in Department of Applied arts from 1981 to 1990. Lin received a price in the 23rd Chinese Writers' & Artists' Association and as a judge in the 44th Taiwan Fine Art Exhibition in 1990. Lin deeply creates water paintings around 40 years so easily understands water painting skills. In his artworks, he combines the western paintings material and Orient painting atmosphere. Thus, his works are very experience and individual art style. The artist very familiar with creates natural view and life by traditional Chinese painting. Moreover, Lin focuses the classical main theme by big white background in his works. Also, the objects release the great honest emotion and peaceful atmosphere. |
