Born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 1956 and received master’s degree from Pratt Institute.

Sheu paints environment and life; moreover, he portrays the subject matter from the first person rather than third person standing. Whether “Dinosaur Series” or “Dinosaur’s Evolution,” it is his reflection upon where we live, and also depiction to imagined desire. To him, working on art creation is self-expression to life and body.

In 2006, Sheu developed his imagination, and then we have “Dinosaur’s Evolution.” In its form, Sheu eliminated those of society’s reason, convention, and norm; thus, returned to a situation of direct desire. Through his experience to life, all kinds of imagination are allowed to express.
